How To Apply Full Lace Human Hair Wigs

You will need scalp protector, cotton swabs, glue or tape adhesive, thin comb, and a rubber band or hair clip. When purchasing the lace you should specify the trimmings needed.

Wrap your own hair tightly to put a cap on or comb back the hair if it is short. Ensure that your hair is tight and smooth so you can have a tight fit. This will also avoid embarrassment.

Before applying the wig, ensure that your skin is clean. Using a cotton swab, you may swab a scalp protector lotion close to the edges of your hair and where you will be applying the wig adhesive. Instead of using scalp protector, you can use a ninety nine percent isopropyl alcohol.

If you wish to use glue for a stronger bond, first brush the hair. After brushing, make sure to swap the glue as close as possible to the edges of the hairline. To avoid a mess, allow the glue dry for a minute or two before applying the wig.

Align the lace edge to the edge of adhesive and press it down for a few seconds. Ensure it is completely bonded around the perimeter by applying a thin comb pressed down on the edges. Ensure that you can only see the wig hair on your hairline. After this process, you can style as desired.

If you trim the lace yourself then you should ensure that you trim down as much lace as possible closest to the edge of the wig hair. Once you put the wig on, ensure that you have tied the hair tightly and smooth it into a rubber hair band or hair clip. This will then prevent any adhesive getting onto the hair. Leave it like that until the glue is dry and then style as desired.
